Syllabus
This will be a 2 hour class. I will be showing the class the basics of interfacing with Photoshop and useful techniques of digital arts. A projector will show live what is taking place on my computer. There will be an example pre-composed for the class. One containing an image that all will participate in coloring. Once use of tools are understood and class demonstrates ability to follow what I have been doing, we will take 15 minutes to allow for the class to make their own illustration. During this time I will also offer any help of the illustrative kind. Then with either use of student phone cameras/ a scanner, these images will then be brought into Photoshop and adjusted. The remaining of the class is focused on the more unique use of the recently leaned skills. I will be doing the same with the class and offering additional techniques and resources to accomplish the individuals more personal project. This can be finished or not by the time the class ends. Ideally it will continue thereafter. 😉
