This class is intended to jumpstart your learning and experience in 3D & potentially, virtual reality. This program is an industry standard for creation in 3D modeling, animation, game design, movie production, and more.
Date: Every Wednesday starting 6:00-8:00pm
Quarter 2: $80.00, classes cannot be purchased individually
Prerequisite: Quarter 1: Maya 3D Animation and Modeling
March 15th: UV & texturing
This class will cover:
-UV texture editor
-Importing textures for realism
-Repeatable techniques for UV layout
March 22nd: Animation I
This class will cover:
-Basics of animation
-Using the timeline
-Create first simple animation
March 29th: Rigging
This class will cover:
-Joint tool to create a functional skeleton
-Binding objects to allow models to move
-Parenting & Smooth Binding
-Forward Kinematics versus Inverse Kinematics
April 5th: Animation II
This class will cover:
-Blocking out poses
-Refine with secondary animation passes
-Graph/animation editor
-Utilize motion paths
